Scale and Recreating All core Hex tiles

Core Tile Development: Scale and Recreating All core Hex tiles.


UI/UX Overhaul:  Ongoing UX design phase.


Development Tasks:

  • Started Converting core blueprint modules to C++.

  • Go through the existing functionalities and start planning overhauling the application.

May 2024 -

 

Entering UI Design, Started Implementation of UX into code and more

Core Tile Development: Continue enhancing core Hex tiles.


UI Integration and System Conversion:  Finished the UX design phase, and started working on UI Design.


Development Tasks:

  • Convert more of the core blueprints to C++.

  • Separate Toolbar elements from toolbox and restructure.

June 2024 -

 

Refining Toolbox, Separating Toolbar, Refactoring existing file operations

Core Tile Development: Continued work on core Hex tiles.


UI Integration and System Conversion:  Continue integration and conversion tasks.


Development Tasks:

  • Develop and refine "Tool Bar",  "Tool Box" and "View Box" UX into Code.

  • Develop and refine "File Box",  "Utility Box" UX into Code.

July 2024 -

 

Adding Single Tile and Asset Placement Functionalities

UI Integration and System Conversion:  Continue with UI and system integration efforts.


Development Tasks:

  • Implement additional drawing type Single Tile Placement, Single Object Drawing and Placement.

  • Enhance Selection Tools and Add Context Menu functionalities.

August 2024 -

 

Refactor and Enchance Core Print functionalities and Viewbox Enchancements

Desert Vol. 1:  Create Desert Tile Theme Assets.


Development Tasks:

  • Refactor and Enchance Core Print functionalities (2D Print, 3D Print)

  • Implement and Enhance Viwebox features (Grid options, Weather Effects, Particle Toggle)

September 2024 -

 

Implementing Settings and Steam Workshop Implementation Starts

UI Refinement : Continue to refine UI elements and user interactions.


Development Tasks:

  • Develop system settings (Graphics, Autosave etc).

  • Implement map sharing functionalities and community interaction tools (Steam Workshop Menu).

October 2024 -

 

Adding Browsing and Sharing Maps on Steam Workshop

Modern Vol. 1:   Create Modern Tile Theme Assets.

Core Tile Development : Enhance the interaction between core tiles and thematic tiles.

UI Testing and Integration : Focus on integrating all UI components with the new themes


Development Tasks:

  • Implement Intersection Tiles for Path and wall.

November 2024 -

 

Final Tile Themes and Preparations

Apocalypse Vol. 1:   Create Apocalypse Tile Theme Assets.

Final UI Adjustments and Beta Preparations : Ensure all UI elements are polished and functional for the beta release.


Development Tasks:

  • Address outstanding bugs.

  • Implement final features and ensure readiness for the public beta.

December 2024 -

 

Beta Testing Starts

Final Testing:   Conduct thorough beta testing and gather feedback..

Final Adjustments : Address any remaining issues and refine the game based on feedback.


Beta Launch : Officially launch the closed beta version to the early access backers.
